Yesterday, I wrote about US Airways Dividend Miles estatement that stated that the program would merge to American Airlines AAdvantage in April.

I just received an email from American Airlines that states the merger to happen sometime in the next 30 days. American Airlines encourages you to link your AAdvantage and Dividend Miles accounts by March 20, 2015.

Conclusion
This means that the Dividend Miles program will cease to exist and mergers to AAdvantage during the first two weeks of April.
It is interesting that the email explicitly states that AAdvantage members should not book US Airways codeshare flights operated by American Airlines and vice versa unless you don’t care about upgrades .
