American Airlines and US Airways merged back on December 9, 2013, and introduced benefits for each others frequent fliers in 2014.

The airline has previously announced that the US Airways Dividend Miles program would merge to American Airlines AAdvantage sometime in the second quarter of 2015.

It seems that the program merge will happen earlier in the second quarter than many thought (myself included).
The Dividend Miles email statement that US Airways has sent out this morning indicates that the programs will merge next month. The exact date is still unclear, however.

Your final US Airways Dividend Miles e-Statement
Next month, we’ll reach the next milestone on our path to integration by bringing Dividend Miles into the American Airlines AAdvantage® program. We’ll transfer your mileage balance and elite-qualifying activity into your new (or existing) AAdvantage account.
Conclusion
If you have been planning to use your Dividend Miles using the US Airways award chart, now it is about the last time to get those redemptions in.
I have been annoyed to see the prompt to link my AA and US accounts every time I have logged to my accounts. I have yet to do this.
