Sharing US Airways Dividend Miles without a bonus doesn’t make any sense. Why would you pay 1 cent per mile for transferring miles from account A to account B?
Now, that US Airways is giving 50% bonus on transferred miles, you could consider this as buying miles 2 cents each.
2 cents per US Airways Dividend Miles is not terrible, but it is not great either. Last year US Airways had this very same promotion but with 100% transfer bonus that was a great way to buy miles at 1 cent each.
