American Airlines is offering 50% award miles bonus for US Airways flights credited to AAdvantage and US Airways is offering 50% bonus for American Airlines flights credited to Dividend Miles.
Both offers are valid for travel between January 13 and March 2, 2014, and require registration.
You can access AA’s offer here and US Airways offer here.
Airlines now have codeshares loaded for travel starting on January 23, 2014. It means that you can buy AA codes flights that are operated by US Airways and vice versa.
Conclusion
It is good that both airlines are offering bonus miles for “partner” flights.
It is difficult, however, for US Airways elites t fly on American and for American elites to fly on US Airways until the upgrade situation is sorted out.
